Snow Day LA

Los Angeles is certainly not known for their snow days. Rather we are known for our unusually hot winter days. But, that does not mean LA locals can’t experience the joys of a good snow day! Snow Day LA uses biodegradable SPFX snow to create the illusions of real snow. In this setting they host winter tubing, interactive art installations, a light show, and a number of food trucks. It is the perfect way to spend an evening in Los Angeles!

Museum of Illusions

Any day is a good day to visit the Museum of Illusions in Los Angeles! Whether you are having a family day, out on a date, or hanging out with friends, this is the perfect place to explore and create memories. You will have the opportunity to see mind-blowing 3D murals and 7 upside down rooms. Our exhibits are interactive too! Don’t be shy, step into the art and take some cool pictures. L.A Kings Holiday Ice

Every year, the LA Kings hockey team hosts an ice skating experience in LA Live. The pop-up ice rink is open from November 30 – January 12. It is family friendly and a lot of fun! You don’t need to be a pro-skater to enjoy this experience; it is a great place to learn how to skate and put your skills to the test. In the area, you will also find the huge Christmas tree, restaurants, bars, and shops. It is a great idea for a family day, date, or hang out with friends.

Descanso Gardens – Enchanted Forest of Lights

Christmas light exhibits pop up all around Los Angeles during the holidays, but Descanso Gardens’s Enchanted Forest of Lights is arguably the best one. These lights are a mile long through some of the most popular areas of the garden. It features large scale light exhibits, as well as interactive exhibits. This outdoor walking through creates for beautiful pictures and memories.

Disneyland

Disneyland sure knows how to deck the halls for the holidays! From a beautiful Christmas tree, to the holiday parade, Nightmare Before Christmas theme, and seasonal treats, it is a one of a kind holiday experience. Take photos with the Disney gang, see Jack Skeleton on the Haunted Mansion, eat festive treats, watch the mesmerizing fireworks, and make incredible memories along the way. The happiest place on earth during the happiest time of year sounds like the right way to go!
